first found poem.

walking home today and thinking about the assignment we were told about in class to write about i found object. i looked at this guy and his dog playing in the quad and thought about all the things that are done in the grass. of course it hasn't really been worked through or edited yet.

Blades.

Unappreciated
stepped on,
kicked,
plucked,
crushed,
thrown,
torn apart,
tended to loved,
cut trimmed
down.
Kids roll down the hills in the summer.
Couples falling in love during picnic dinners on the square of grass.

the anaphora form

The anaphora form even though a lot of people didn't seem to like it during the class discussion I liked it. Well not exactly how it was presented in all of the examples. Some of the repetition was over done, and the poems were too long but I enjoyed the poem The Burning Heart because it wasn't a constant repetition it seemed to be just enough. Also the poem Fear even though it repeated the begging phrase the lines being shorter helped it not become over done.
