The anaphora form even though a lot of people didn't seem to like it during the class discussion I liked it. Well not exactly how it was presented in all of the examples. Some of the repetition was over done, and the poems were too long but I enjoyed the poem
The Burning Heart because it wasn't a constant repetition it seemed to be just enough. Also the poem
Fear even though it repeated the begging phrase the lines being shorter helped it not become over done.
I also like the anaphora form. As you mention, some poems pull it off better than others. I think that the subject matter has a great deal to do with whether or not an anaphora is successful.
