My pantoum.

A letter of ramblings

Hello Dear,
let me tell you what I see,
a hem of tight blossoms,
a dress on fire.

What else do I see?
Well, shall I go on?
A dress on fire next to

a green tunic
shall I go on?
Sufficiently fierce,
this green tunic

on the wall, like I said its
sufficiently fierce. Actually
you would be more valuable here,
on the wall!

I wish to tie up, my lover because
your more valuable here. With
a hem of tight blossoms,
I'll tie you up my lover.
Hello well, goodbye Dear.

At first I thought I had just picked some random lines and they didnt make any sense but then when I added a few commas and extra words I felt like I had written something that made sense in a wierd way. I looked at it as a desinger of some kind writing a letter to thier "lover". begining by decribing the things that are in the workshop and then at the end expressing how they wish this person was thier with them. I dont think it would be a letter anybody would ever send but I could see this being a phone call.

I liked the haiku from the packet
The falling flower- Babette Deutsch

The falling flower
I saw drift back to the branch
Was a butterfly.

I've always liked the form of Haiku's and how they usually pertain to nature and are short and sweet but give such a large image. However I'm not good at writing them. this one stuck out to me because it mentions to of my favorite things butterflies and flowers.
